Why Do Drop Down Menu’s In Joomla Not Display Correctly In Internet Explorer 6?

In Internet Explorer 6 the drop down menu appears but then the sub drop down menus that are supposed to appear to the right when you hover over a menu item don’t display correctly. They appear inside the main drop down column. What is the fix to get them displaying properly?

Joomla is very limited - you get what you can see and if it doesn’t do what you want, you’re pretty much stuck. For proper sites that work with all the inconsistencies of different browsers, either you’ll need to use a professional design company or learn how to code yourself.
