Why Can’t Joomla Upload Files To The /media Directory?
I am using Joomla 1.0.x for a website. (It’s internal, so no link. Sorry.) I am trying to install TINMW, which is a wiki component. Every time I try to install it, I get an error message that says ‘Failed to move component to /media directory.’ I have tried looking in all of the media directories to make sure that the file isn’t already there. Why doesn’t this work?

What operating system are you using. Make sure to have a look at your folders permissions.
