    Hi
Joomla is to be installed on a server that supports both PHP/SQL. I am assuming you have a standard windows machine at the moment hence there will be no straight-forward installation icon.
If you unzip the Joomla folder and upload it to the public directory on your web server (eg http://www.your-domain-name.com/joomla) then when you visit http://www.your-domain-name.com/joomla it will start the installation process.
Another thing you can do is if you don’t currently have a web server you can download a copy of XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html)
XAMPP is a simple pre-configured web server which you can install on your Windows PC. There is loads of documentation and support available for it on the Apache Friends webpage (http://www.apachefriends.org)
    Hope this helps
