Simple answer IE7 is useless, the faster people realise this and switch to Firefox, the better for programmers there are a lot of things that are messed up in IE that you would have thought would be fixed by version 8 but nope Microsoft cant be bothered.

Just try this:
Open Internet Explorer->Click Tools->Internet Options.
Click Advanced Tab.
Scroll Down to the option Multimedia and check the box which says: Show Pictures. Press OK and exit
This should resolve your issue.
