   I use joomla for my site. It is very effective for people now to html, php etc. You can view a demo of joomla being used at http://theguruhouse.com
   It manages articles, categories, sections etc. Very easy to use in my opinion.

   Joomla is a CMS, or Content Management Software. It helps manage large websites or websites with many pages / articles / sections. It allows you to create a Template that acts as your basic styling and layout. Then all you do is wirte content and joomla will handle that for you. If your looking at creating a dynamic website with many articles joomla will help with that, but if your looking at creating a website. I recommend reading up on xhtml and css. If you still want to create a custom website using joomla, I recommend adding php to the list of languages that you should learn.

   It’s a CRM. It’ll make you a website, but it’d look more like a blog (if thats what your looking for). Pretty sure they have examples of some sites on their page… or do a quick search (they all look practically the same)
