Virtue Mart And Joomla: Installation Error, Please Help!?
I’ve done the automatic installation of Virtue Mart on Joomla 1.5 and it seemed it all went through ok, but when from the screen confirming that the installation was succesful I clicked to go to the shop, I got this message:
Critical Error:
Some Core Files for VirtueMart are missing, but they are required for installing and running VirtueMart. If you see this message it’s recommended to attempt the Manual Installation of VirtueMart!
I tried the manual installation and I got the same message.
Anyone knows what could be the problem?

A couple of initial thoughts then I’ll give some fuller ideas.
Lets us assume that:
1) the archive of the latest version (1.1.0 as of 23/4/08) has been downloaded correctly from the VirtureMart website.
2) the files have then been extracted and uploaded completely via FTP to your website.
3) before trying a second time to install you have completely removed both the files and the databases.

It sounds like others have had similar issues so hunt around the forums of Virtuemart.
