How Do You Set Up A Mysql Database Locally When You Have Wamp Installed?

How do you have multiple databases setup locally and how do you know the details of each for testing different local installations of Joomla for example?
When you have a system fully developed locally how do you transfer the actual mySQL database to web space like OneandOne to make it useable on the web?

Problem In Configuring Joomla Installation In Wamp?

I have installed WAMP. After this, I copy joomla folder in “www” foler under WAMP directory. When configuring joomla installation in WAMP, it shows error “Cannot connected to sql server”

Will It Cause Any Problems If You Use Wamp Server Instead Of Xampp In Joomla?

I have wamp server 2.0 installed on my system and I wish to continue using it because I am going to start using joomla? Does it make any difference if you use WAMP or XAMPP?
