I Can’t Change The Joomla 1.5 Logo?

Joomla Logo Question?

How can I change the logo on my web site, I currently use text instead of image but when I want to use image “joomla logo” will appear on top of my web site. I don’t know how to change that image to my own logo. Can I get some help please?

I am unable to change the joomla logo at the top left.
using FTP i downloaded the image from both public_html and www.
I edited the image, then reuploaded but this time the logo has not changed.
don’t really no where to go from here.
