Joomla! Installation Onto Mysql/php Localhost– Help!!?

okay- so i’ve wasted hours trying to figure this out on my own. joomla forums have been oh-so helpful but i was wondering if there is anyone out there who has personally installed joomla 1.5.4 onto their opensource phpadmin/mysql localhost server- nothing yet published to the web.

Joomla Template Installation Trouble?

I uploaded my joomla template to my website using FTP filezilla client.
after installation i opened my webpage to install joomla. but it is giving some error like direct access is not allowed or file access denied.
anyone know solution??

Joomla Installation Problem?

I have uploaded Joomla software to my website but when I go to http://www.mysite.com/joomla_folder I get a blank page. Has anyone had this problem before? It’s been a long time since I’ve worked with Joomla. Can someone help me figure this out?

Virtue Mart And Joomla: Installation Error, Please Help!?
