Shopping Site In Joomla?

I am planning to open a shopping site that will have 250+ items for online sales through Paypal. I also want an easy form through which I can delete/update/add shopping items.
Will Joomla be a good option? Do Joomla sites have SEO issues? What is the disadvantage if I make it in Joomla and not regular XHMTL and other DB stuff. Is Joomla easily integrated with Paypal?

I suggest you to use joomla extensions like”Virtuemart” its an complete online shopping extensions. you can easily add/edit/remove the products in this and there is easy integration with paypal.
Read the guidelines properly you will have no problems at all.
Joomla can be a good option, check its demo to see for your self.
No Joomla does not have huge SEO problems.
the disadvantages with joomla might be
*it needs to be updated to latest for security reason.
*you need to do a tiny work with uploading database.
*sometimes it might hard to customizing the pages.
