Question About Joomla And Domain?

Well, I’m currently interested in knowing about creating/starting a website. So Joomla is a free web hosting/program right? Does it provide a domain that is free (.net / .com)? I’ve seen several website using Joomla with (.net) domain. Please do help me clear my doubts. Thanks!

Actually joomla is only a software to make a web site (A CMS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_management_system), it can’t host or give you a domain, you have to buy a domain and a host and then install joomla in it, but there are some free hosters which allow you to use these software with limited features!!!

No, they only provide free spaces for free pages. If you want full domain then you need to pay.
