Joomla With Existing Server?
I currently have begun looking at using Joomla to manage my website. Currently I have files on the server and am wondering, when I upload Joomla to the server, will it override what I currently have on the server?

Generally, this is not a problem. You’ll either have to install joomla yourself (in which case you’ll no doubt take care not to overwrite existing files) or you’ll have an installer which will allow you to pick a directory. Normally joomla goes into its own directory.
The hardest thing for people moving to CMS systems is giving up files you’ve already created. You’re going to be able to keep your content, but you’ll probably end up ditching many of the pages you’ve already created, because it’s too hard to make existing content fit stylistically with joomla or any other CMS.
Still, it’s completely worth it.
