Joomla W/ Dreamweaver? ?

February 12, 2010 under FAQ

How do you integrate joomla into a website..I know there is a lot of coding involved but I want to know the basics….If you create the site in Dreamweaver do you integrate Joomla while in Dream weaver or do you put your site into joomla after it is already created (and therefore are not using a wysiwyg web page editor)?

You wouldn’t really want to be integrating Joomla into your existing site; you want to integrate your site into Joomla.
You first want to install Joomla on your webhost and for making the design of it, you can just edit the CSS and HTML in a preexisting template to make it work for what you need. It is very difficult to start from the ground up.
From then, you can set everything in the site up in the administration area.
