Joomla Or Wordpress? Will Wordpress Be Okay For Me?

I have a site set up in WordPress that seems to look nice and be functioning okay. It’s actually a directory type site, featuring different entities with pictures, ect.
However, someone said I should use Joomla, which I’ve been unable to learn very well.
Do you think I should stay with WordPress at least for a while, or take the time to try to switch it to Joomla right away? If I keep the WordPress site, I can start my business, but switching will cause me quite a long delay with the learning curve (which would be very bad for me).
Your thoughts?

yes wordpress is just as good
I have used both programs and I have come to prefer wordpress. There are some projects where you need some extra functionality that wordpress doesn’t have so joomla is a good choice. But if wordpress covers the needs of your site I don’t see any reason for changing to joomla, it’ll just make things more difficult.
I have tried them all, I would stick with wordpress. Joomla is not all it is cracked up to be. You could also check out contentteller - which is the old story teller.
I think you could use contentteller with wordpress to create a portal type site. http://www.contentteller.com/en/
