Joomla Installation Problem?

I have uploaded Joomla software to my website but when I go to http://www.mysite.com/joomla_folder I get a blank page. Has anyone had this problem before? It’s been a long time since I’ve worked with Joomla. Can someone help me figure this out?

Hi guys. I need help to install joomla on Windows 7. I have installed my WAMP server and my skype is disabled and I have installed my joomla files inside the http://www. folder and in a folder called ( joomla15) in WAMP and I’m trying to access the installation through the url http://localhost/joomla15 but there is nothing happening, the site keeps on telling me that the website you are looking for is not available. Please help, I feel like there is something am missing but am just not getting it.

Try going to http://www.mysite.com/joomla_folder/inst… and see if you still get a blank page or the setup script kicks off…
