Joomla Error - 500 Internal Server - Hosted On Yahoo?

Hi Friends, i am using joomla 1.5.
i hosted in yahoo
i am getting home page only if i click the link in the how page it showing error (Sorry, the page you requested was not found.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request. )
Please help me…
i uploaded the joomla from local server to remote server
i can’t able to upload the .htaccess so renamed as htaccess.txt
i turned off the cache..
when i am using joomla in local server i am not getting the error….
please help me…..

Regrettably, Yahoo! Web Hosting does not allow editing of the .htaccess file. You will not, at this time, be able to use a custom .htaccess file on your Yahoo! Web Hosting. You also will not have shell access to your server.
ok just try renaming it as htaccess.pdf or .htm
