Joomla - Can I Create As Many Websites (template Managers) As I Want?
I am a curious about these IT things and like to learn a lot by myself, mainly in the internet. But of course, sometimes I need help from the experts.
So, the question is: I already have a proper business website done in Joomla. Is it possible to create other websites (as many as I want) with different design, info, etc within the same joomla domain?? And can it have a different addresss (www…..) or it has to be connected to the main one?

Joomla is a CMS (Content Management System) or portal. I didn’t know they hosted sites. If you already have a business site, I assume it’s through a third party hosting company who Joomla may have introduced you to. If your domain is http://www.xxx.com and you are the owner of xxx, then your options will depend on the policies of your hosting company. My hosting service allows me to have several URL’s linked to my site, and each is directed to a different folder. You would need to set up a separate copy of Joomla in each of these folders. Each version of Joomla can then be tailored to whatever you’re flogging. You can use whatever domain names you want but you’ll have to pay for each of them. Another option my host offers is sub-domains. These appear as http://www.aaa.xxx.com and http://www.bbb.xxx.com I can only have two, but your host may offer more. There’s usually no cost involved with this. Another free option is several copies of Joomla located in folders accessed by http://www.xxx.com/cats and http://www.xxx.com/dogs. Crikey, I hope that all makes sense.
