Joomla Anyoneeeeeeeee?

being looking to build a ecommerce website, end up on joomla.org, which is a CMS company.
any idea how I can learn to use this site, lotso f options there and quiet confusing to get my way thru.
saw ads of flash videos being sold online, I downloded a torrent of joomlamagic, end up being a scam, not helpful at all.
if you have any idea of a cd that i purchase or know where i can take some sort of classes for joomla. plz answer to this thread.

Joomla has a plugin/extension/addon system, you should download an ecommerce plugin and install it on your joomla.
I like joomla… easy to use and manage. I recommend sitegrinder for any web designing. Very simple and easy.
Joomla is a CMS written in Php.
To understand it and adapt it to your needs, you need to know Php and mysql.
But if you know Php and mysql, who needs Joomla???
(It will take you longer to learn Joomla than to learn HTML, javascript, Php and Mysql altogether!
