Installing Joomla 1.5 On Yahoo: How Do I Turn Register Globals & Output Buffering Off When They’re On? Tnx
Joomla installation pages comes up fine, but at 2nd page, it recommends these settings remain off, not on. I checked again, but it remains the same. Do I need a new host. Customer service will not help. Thanks.

You can’t change those settings yourself since your host controls it. Don’t worry about those warnings, as long as your host is secure (which they are), you don’t have to worry.
Those warnings are for people who are installing on their own server and have no other safety measures. I am 100% sure that your joomla install will work just fine.
