I’m Looking For A Good Host For A Joomla-based Web Site. I Currently Have Godaddy It Seems Slow. Suggestions?
January 29, 2010 under FAQ
From what I’ve been reading, Godaddy doesn’t sound like it’s best suited for Joomla and there are some others out there recommended but I’m having a tough time filtering through it all and figuring out what is the best option. It’s going to be an online newspaper type site with photos and video and article and multiple updates a day. Any suggestions on good hosts to look into and why would be appreciated.

I Own http://pAsM-Networks.com, Joomla runs fine, even on the free accounts
The best one is bluehost webhosting http://www.bluehost.com/track/bluehostwe…
I am running 4 Joomla sites on one Godaddy account at the moment (including a video share site) and I have not noticed any problems, you could always use hostgator, a lot of my clients use them and they are pretty good
Try then http://www.hostitdaddy.com/ they also support JOOMLA.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
They offer a Full-featured service only $6.95 a month. Their package include Joomla and it is really fast and uptime.
You can see their Plan Details accompanied with reliable reviews regarding their service at:

This service was awarded “The Best Web Host OF 2008”.
Good Luck!
Another vote for Bluehost. I also have several sites and clients there. As a Linux shell guy, I really appreciate the ssh access on top of everything else they offer.
