i’ve tried to change the directory it pointing to joomla/installation but nothin happen. on the joomla website it just says to type in your webaddress and you should see a screen saying pick your language. I’m not getting that screen help? joomla 1.5 hep thanks?

    is there an index.html (or .php or the like) in your root?

    You should have had an empty directory for the Joomla files to go in, my thoughts are that the “index.html” file you said was there is a left over from the time the web hosting was setup, try renaming it to “index.html-DISABLED” and entering the Joomla install again. If its not that I will eat my hat…
