I Need Help On Joomla?

I want User Accounts on my website so many people told me to try Joomla. So I downloaded it, now all i got are just abunch of files, I dont know what to do form here, can some one please walk me through this step-by-step?

Go to joomla.org There are instructions how to install on your server and what to do.
