i have problem hosting joomla on yahoo webhosting, do anyone know if it works on yahoo webhosting

I personally have not used Yahoo Web hosting but from what I understand they support MySQL plus PHP so Joomla in theory should work. Do they have a Control Panel like Fantastico that can be used to install Joomla.

Yes, it works, but Yahoo has some rather annoying features (or lack thereof) that interfere with it. The js-calendar module will not upload, and the SEF (Search Engine Friendly) options in Joomla’s Global Configuration will not work because Yahoo will not allow filenames beginning with a period (”.”).
You have to create a database manually and enter the prefix, name of database, and password into the Joomla setup program. It’s all a bit tricky but I do have Joomla up and running on Yahoo hosting.
