Joomla is a content management system which uses PHP. So you can create a website using joomla.

1. Install Apache server
Download the XAMPP installer for your version XAMPP
website: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.ht…
2. After downloading XAMPP isntall it
3. Start the Mysql and Apache service
4. Now extract joomla in to the htdocs folder
5. Go to the browser and type http://localhost/joomla - here joomla is the folder name
7. It will show you the steps to install it..
