How To Setup Up A Dynamic Website Using Joomla?

i’m not sure if my question above is technically correct. (I am really confused).
I just want to have my company a working dynamic website, and i want to use Joomla, Wampserver2 in WinXP.
Anyone who can give me an overview of the things that i needed to prepare or do..just a list will do. It’s from a no-website to a dynamic working website using joomla.

- Joomla 1.1.15, 1.5 is not recommended yet
- JSAS Joomla Stand Alone Server (works on XP)
Converting from static site to Joomla
- Dreamweaver
- Dreamweaver Joomla extensions
- extensive .css knowledge
- HTML knowledge (code)
- Php My SQL experience
- FTP software or Fantastico script installation
- Joomla Web Hosting
