How Can You Upgrate From Joomla 1.0.12 To 1.0.15 ?

I have the zip file in my computer. Now I need to open it and transfer it with ftp to the root directory ? anything else ?

There are usually upgrade instructions in the packages. After you unzip it, look around for it. It should tell you step by step.

No aslong as you have overighted all the files correctly in all directories then it should be updated fine. I have only used a joomla server 3 times and their patches are very easy as you explained aswell.
