How Can I Transfer My Joomla Website From Loalhost To The Sever On Internet?

I made a website usng joomla on my pc, so when I type local host in the browser my website come up, but how may I transfer the website to my yahoo hosting?
I know how to use ftp and copy the files,
but I have no idea how to tran sfer my SQL to my yahoo hosting

you would need to login into the sql control pannel, or use a sql admin program to add the tables, and queries etc..
It’s easy to move your Joomla installation to a new hosting server. Download Joompack and install this component. It will make a full backup of your Joomla site including the database into a zip file. You extract that file on your new host in the public_html and it will run a Joomla install script. Take 10 minutes to do the whole thing. I’d check out Host Gator or Rochenhost for increased speed of your Joomla site.

I would Load joomla onto your webspace in root using the same version you built it in 1.0.15 or 1.5.7 hopefully.
Then install Joomlapack on both sites and run a backup on your home server and transfer it your website . You will still need to edit your configuration.php.
