For a Joomla website how do you get the drop down menus to display correctly in Internet Explorer 6?

The drop down menu doesn’t display correctly in Internet Explorer 6 with the menus that should appear to the right of the drop down menu being cut off.
How do you fix this?

    Hi djbennett999,
How proficient are you at CSS? The overflow property is probably set to “hidden”
If you can locate the overflow property, or insert an IE6-specific condition which assigns overflow:visible or overflow:inherit
“inherit” does what you think, it inherits the overflow from its parent.
If the parent is clipping the overflow, then you’ll need to create a rule for those specific elements so they are “visible” instead of clipped.
I have to ask, how often do you think your clientele uses IE6?
If they’re getting regular updates for Windows…even if they’re using XP or Win2K, they will be prompted to download IE7.
My company is still stuck in IE6 support, simply because MS isn’t ready to let IE6 die gracefully. It’s frustrating.
    Best regards,
    subexpression
