Drupal Or Joomla — Which Do You Prefer And Why?

August 1, 2009 under FAQ

I’m looking at setting up a new website and can use either Drupal or Joomla. Which do you prefer, and why? I’d like to understand better the practical differences between them.
I do some programming, not an expert but I’ve been doing my own html sites for 10 years.

    Joomla is the best choice.
It has more support and has a lot more capabilities than drupal.
Also, depending on what kind of site it is, wordpress would be what I prefer as well. (referring to the other guys post)

Both are really good i have worked with both ….
basically it’s your requirement which can make better choice ..
Joomla will be the crucial leap for the platform paving the way for the resolution of many old limitations. Producing a good-looking site with plenty of functionality is a relatively easy task with Joomla.
Drupal is more community-oriented and the current live version is more extensible.
Have a look at this chart this will help you out to choose the right one for you http://www.alledia.com/blog/general-cms-…

Definitely Joomla. Much easier to work with out of the box, much easier to extend.
Personally I do prefer Wordpress because it’s much easier to create templates in HTML for it.
