Can Someone Tell Me What’s Wrong With My Joomla Site? It Must Be A Simple Problem?

January 28, 2010 under FAQ

I am trying to design a site using Joomla. This is the site: http://www.pontybistro.com/
Then click on the link “Menu” in red. I’m just trying to load an article but it doesn’t display the template properly. The article just says “Menu” so it does show up.

You might want to check on the paths to your images. This was one:http://www.pontybistro.com/index.php/med…

I’m not entirely sure of the cause, but the problem is that all of the embedded URLs are wrong.
The base is http://www.pontybistro.com/ index.php/ menu and should be http://www.pontybistro.com (as it is for the home page).
    All the other references start with /index.php (e.g. /index.php/ media/ system/ js/ mootools.js), and shouldn’t.
I would check your global site settings and those for any SEF plugins you might be using for clues.
The page looks fine in a cleaned up copy.
