Can I Set Up Joomla To Run On Yahoo And If So How? I’m Looking To Run It On A Subdomain Ie:you.me.com?
I’m trying to find out how to best set up Joomla on Yahoo hosting or do I need to use another hosting service like dreamhost, etc. Also is it possible to set up Joomla on a subdomain like funmagazine.fun.com?

The minimum requirement for hosting a joomla site is:
1. Hosting Space
2. Data Transfer
3. PHP Support
4. MySQL Database Support.
Yahoo provides the above for all their hosting plans.
And in case you want to put Joomla on a subdomain the hosting provider should support subdomains.
Yahoo provides the subdomains by default.
So you can put Joomla on you.me.com if you are hosting provider is Yahoo.
How:
Let us say me.com is the main site.
1. Create a subdomain “you” through your hosting providers control panel
2. Create a database for Joomla “youdata” through hosting providers database panel
3. Install Joomla - the standard procedure given by Joomla Distribution.
4. Your basic Joomla site is ready.
