    yes u can buy or make a template similare to http://www.nevershoutnever.com/ and later use it in joomla and put ur own data (Section, Categories, Articles )

    You absolutly could, you are going to have to get up to your elbows in code though, you’re goning to have to write your own theme to do that.

    Absolutely! Called component modules… Are you looking for specifics for applying them? Are you using Joomla now? But, yes you can add each module, like a calandar, bloglisting, event dates, video plugin, whatever you want within the control panel and finidng open source component plugins is easy.
