I’ve only used Joomla, but one limitation I’ve come across is that I can’t have an article belonging to more than one category, which is what I need for my new site. Can Drupal do something like this?

    Hmm now that sounds interesting…
    Even something simple like a Language School’s different types of classes is too much for Joomla’s 2 level divison..

    Yes, in Drupal you could use Taxonomy to apply two different terms to the same article.
