Any Free Joomla 1.0 Extension/component For Contact Form With Capatcha?
I’m looking an extension/component that can be installed with Joomla 1.0 so when a user fills in a contact form on the site they have to input the text from a capatcha image.
I’m looking to prevent spam emails.

As far the Joomla! Extension Database and me are aware, there aren’t any available which don’t require that you update to Joomla! 1.5.
There is an entire category dedicated to contact forms at the JED:http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/…
but they’re all 1.5 Native extensions.

If you’re not running Joomla! 1.5 yet, you could be at risk from security vulnerabilites, as Joomla! 1.0.x reached it’s end-of-life on the 22nd of July and will NOT be patched for vulnerabilites anymore. I strongly recommend you update - it’s a pain-free process and there’s even a guide up at:http://docs.joomla.org/Migrating_from_1.…
(not to mention that it’s almost impossible to find extensions for 1.0 now. :P)
Alternatively, you could use Drupal or something ( http://drupal.org ) - I use that CMS myself - but I’ve a feeling you might not want to go down that route.
